Sissel Grubbe

Sissel is a girl, who I met last year through her friends Sedsel and Celeste. I just remember not being able to say all of the names in a row, so I had a habit of referring to them as "sweety". She is a very talented model, and probably one of the only few pro models I have worked by now, which was def a pleasure.
See you tmrw for a wild night my dear girl with no bones (it is a joke, she does have bones, but the certain dancing skills make her look like she has no bones)

The exiting valentine's day...oh wait!

This valentines day I took some photos of Anders Geipel, an actor, who is working at Simons. Speaking of taking way too many photos of the staff. Though I must admit, they failed, since it was very cold, we were trying to pull out the whole bad boy look, while Anders is actually a very sweet guy. They were taking at Amager/shit island and therefore turned out ... bad.

Inspiration: nuns and babushkas.

The fashion week is over and I am on a new resolutions less drinking hence less drunken self destructive ideas and less black clothes :) Also, I think I ll try to post some inspiration photos here in the blog, so it will be a bit easier for me to be more organized than just having them in the inspiration folder.
Photowise I figured that half naked chicks is fun, but the time has come to do a little nun shoot I have been thinking about since this summer and something in babushka style, since my greatest inspiration is my heritage  doubled up with some humor towards the stereotypes about russian/eastern european culture. Yes, there are bears on the streets. Yes, i take vodka shots with my expresso in the morning. Yes, it is just an accident that I am very decent in English and the other russian girls can just smile and say with a huge accent "my name is Alina and i do not speak English" (a little reference to my sweet friend from home, who had a lovely experience in denmark and who know declares the love to google translate)

MOONSPOON SALOON @ Simons

Fashion week for me is shooting 3 parties in the row basically, and trying to spot some fashion-like people. And since smart me also went out on Wednesday, this will be my 4th night out. But back to the last night - the performance by the "dancers" was quite insane and trippy. Weird side effects were observed on well... me. Though, I must say that it was a pretty inspiring thing.
